According to local media, there will be a super five-star hotel established in Xiamen by the end of next year.

This hotel will carry the Smart Hero brand and is one part of a RMB150 million investment and 40,000-square-meter project. The hotel is located on the banks of Yuandang Lake and near Nanhu Park. It covers 28,000 square meters and will provide 153 guestrooms. The hotel will reportedly be designed by famous Spanish designer Melvin Villarroel.

Founded in 2001, the Hong Kong-based Smart Hero (Hong Kong) Investment Company Limited is a comprehensive enterprise which focuses on real estate development, mainland and overseas investment, hotels, and office buildings.
