Le Meridien She Shan Shanghai has welcomed Jerry Tan as its new executive chef.
Tan's will oversee daily operations of the Western kitchen of Le Cafe, creating innovative and culturally diverse menus. He will also be taking charge of banquet and catering projects including themed parties and weddings. His culinary career started in 1982 in his home city, Kuala Lumpur. Over the years, he developed himself by working with various international hotel chains and also some well-known restaurants in Australia. His most recent posting was at Kempinski Hotel Spa and Resort, Sanya, where he was the executive chef.
