Regal Shanghai East Asia Hotel has named Robert Quillfeldt as its new general manager.
Quillfeldt has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality sector and studied hotel and catering management in Britain. He has since worked in the hotel and hospitality industry in areas such as Australia, Britain, Hong Kong, with professional focus on general management; food and beverage and pre-opening organization.
He previously held the position of group general manager in a boutique hotel chain before joining the Regal Group as general manager of the Regal Kowloon Hotel in 2004, and he has since held the position of vice president for project (Regal Hotels International) and general manager (Regal Kowloon Hotel).
