In a tourism promotion meeting held in Changsha, travel agencies from Changsha and delegates from Japan and Korea discussed cooperation in the tourism industry.

Delegates from the Seoul Tourism Development Bureau told local media that Korea thinks highly of Changsha which is a city with high quality consumer goods. They also hope to combine resources with Osaka's travel sector to attract more Chinese tourists to visit Korea and thereby have a good interaction among the three regions.

Ma Xin, vice general manager of Changsha China International Travel Service Company Limited, said that Japan and Korea have accounted for 30-40% of outbound travel figures from Changsha and are still growing quickly. Japan and Korea frequently launch some special tour routes for the Hunan market, targeting professional corporate and individual resources.
