The Tianjin travel administration has issued a new regulation about promoting tourism resources development to stimulate the enthusiasm of the tourism enterprises in the northern Chinese city.
Those tourism enterprises which have reached a certain scale will be given bonuses for their performances. There are three types of bonuses for achievements in inbound travel, city tours and tourism promotions. The maximum bonus for the inbound travel award is RMB40,000, and the city tour award is RMB30,000. As for the tourism promotion award, the bonus will be calculated according to 10-15% of revenue egenrated from the activities. All the bonuses come from the tourism development fund of Tianjin city.
Some travel agencies in Tianjin told local media that this new regulation will encourage them to make efforts to attract more tourists to Tianjin so that the city can expand its domestic and overseas impact.
