Swissotel Hotels & Resorts has established a new cooperation with car rental company Avis.

For all Swissotel guests as well as all members of Club Swiss Gold, the hotel group's customer loyalty program, special rates and discounts on the published price will apply in the future. These will vary according to the particular season or automobile type.

"Through partnerships with selected partners who complement us symbiotically we offer sophisticated clientele clear added value," explained Stephanie Hilgers, director partner marketing Swissotel Hotels & Resorts. "To date, our partners were all either airlines or credit card companies, so we are now delighted to be working together with an automobile hire company on an exclusive partnership basis. The agreement has been established for an initial period of three years."

Avis is one of the world's leading automobile hire firms, and is represented in 161 countries with a fleet of over 350,000 vehicles. Guests of the international hotel chain with Swiss roots will be able to benefit from numerous advantages with immediate effect.

Swissotel Hotels & Resorts is owned by Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, a leading global hotel company with over 80 hotels in 25 countries worldwide under the Raffles, Fairmont and Swissotel brands. The company also owns Fairmont and Raffles branded Residences, Estates and luxury private residence club properties.
