InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the re-branding of The Landmark Hotel Shenzhen into Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Landmark Shenzhen.

Built in 1994 and operating as a five-star business hotel, The Landmark Shenzhen has just undergone an extensive renovation program, and as Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Landmark Shenzhen it hopes to attract even greater distinction in the region.

"We are delighted to bring IHG's management to the Landmark hotel in Shenzhen and rebrand it as a Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites. The Crowne Plaza brand, accompanied with IHG's proven track record of exceptional management experience across the globe will take what was a very good hotel and transform it into one of the finest hotels in the south of China,"  said Dominique Berhouet, general manager of Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Landmark Shenzhen.

The re-branded hotel boasts 319 rooms with an average room size of 63 square meters, each equipped with welcoming amenities including extra-large bathtubs, 12-inch rain forest showers, 42-inch flat panel television personalized butler service and free broadband Internet access in all rooms.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Landmark Shenzhen also features a variety of leisure options including five food and beverage venues and the Tamara Spa by Lifestyle, which offers guests a light, airy Thai feel to help them relax away tensions of the day.
