Domestic Travel Agencies Allowed More Leeway In Jiangxi

The Huizhou delegation attended the Tenth Mayor Joint Meeting of Dajingjiu Economic Cooperation Zone held in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, and signed a cooperative frame agreement for regional tourism that includes benefits for travel agencies.

According to local media, the agreement says that 17 member cities of Dajingjiu Economic Cooperation Zone will cancel regional tourism agreements and access barriers to provide more convenience for tourism enterprises and tourists through building more service facilities.

The domestic travel agencies which meet the standards of the Travel Agency Management Regulations are allowed to set up their non-incorporated branches spanning provinces or cities. And the agreement also permits travel agencies to offer one-stop services for organizing and receiving tour groups if they meet the essential conditions.

The limits vehicles' access to cities or scenic spots will be eliminated among those member cities as well.
