Kempinski Readies New Suzhou Hotel

By May 2008, Suzhou Industrial Park located on the east of the Old City in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, will welcome it's newest five-star hotel, Kempinski Hotel Suzhou.

Managed by Kempinski, the hotel is located within a large estate which encompasses the 27-hole Jinji Lake International Golf Course, Jinji Lake Grand Hotel, a State Guest House of five villas and Dushu Lake.

Kempinski Hotel Suzhou plans to have 458 guest rooms and suites, meeting facilities and a large ballroom that can seat 1,500 people. In the connecting building to the main hotel is 6,000 square meters of recreational facilities which include a large indoor swimming pool, indoor tennis courts, squash courts, a spacious health club, aerobics room and a Spa.

The hotel is owned by Jinji Lake Grand Hotel Co., Ltd. who has invested a total of RMB1.2 billion into making this project one of Suzhou's leading business resort hotels.
