Huatian Hotel Expands Budget Hotel Chain

Huatian Hotel has announced that its subsidiary holding company Huatian Inn Hotel Management Company will open an additional 30 budget hotel outlets in China.
According to the development strategy in 2007 Huatian Inn added seven budget hotel outlets in Beijing, Changsha, Shanghai, Nanchang, and Wuhan. Currently the company owns 17 outlets around the country.
Huatian Inn will expand to 200 hotels by 2010 including 140 direct-run outlets, with an annual growth rate of 30-60 hotels, including franchised outlets.
The latest published data indicates that in 2007, the number of rooms of budget hotels in China increased by 89% from 2006, with the growth rate being 20% higher than that of the same period of 2006.
