CITIC Group To Build Two Five-star Hotels In Boao

The CITIC Group plans to build four large projects in Boao, Qionghai City this year.

According to local media, these four projects include two high-end resort hotels, a resort residence area, a large supporting facilities project, and a demonstration zone project. It is reported that CITIC Group has reached a provisional agreement for cooperation with Marriott International and Hyatt Corporation.

The two hotels will be built to deluxe five-star standards. The first phase of the 3,000-mu resort residence area covers about 671 Mu, and is aimed to meet the leisure and spending holiday requirements of medium and high-end consumers from both domestic and overseas markets.

In addition, a large supporting facilities project will be built into a center for leisure, shopping, and entertainment. Another important project is building a demonstration zone combining the characteristics of local culture, historic traditions, and tourism.
