After the Spring Festival, hotel rates in many hot tour cities and scenic spots are beginning to go down.

According to Ctrip.com, high-end hotels in Hong Kong and Macau have basically returned to normal rates after the festival, with the highest discount rate of 50%; and in Hangzhou, some hotels have adjusted prices to be 30% lower than during the festival period. The detailed data shows that one deluxe hotel in Macau has launched a rate of RMB900 per senior guestroom per night - these were priced at more than RMB2,600 during the Spring Festival. One four-star hotel in Hangzhou has a current rate of RMB428 per standard room per night, compared with RMB748 during the Spring Festival.

It is reported that Hong Kong, Macau, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Xiamen, and Harbin were the hot tour cities for this Spring Festival. But with the end of Golden Holiday, hotels in these cities have begun to lower their rates.
