Juneyao Airlines has announced that it will formally begin a round-trip flight from Shanghai Pudong to Guangxi Beihai starting from February 28, 2008. This new service will be Juneyao Airlines' twenty-eighth route.

Prior to this, both Shanghai Airlines and China Eastern Airlines had opened the same route and then suspended it, which means Juneyao Airlines is the only air company to operate the non-stop route between Shanghai and Beihai, connecting the two cities again.

The flight will leave Pudong Airport at 17:10 on every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and arrive at Beihai at 20:00; the return flight will leave Beihai Airport at 20:45 on every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving at Shanghai Pudong Airport at 23:25.

Located at south of Guangxi province, near to the Gulf of Tonkin, Beihai is a garden port city surrounded by sea on three sides and has rich tourism resources.
