Of these six important projects including a sports and leisure center, a theme park, a comprehensive tourism area and others are expected to complete their construction within this year. Another 14 projects such as an aquarium, resort area, international conference center, and scenic spots are also quickening their development.

The Tianjin Tourism Bureau said that the city plans to integrate public tourism resources to take advantage of some venues and facilities such as cultural museums, characteristic architecture, historic schools, ancient sites, famous shops, crafts workshops, bridges and fountains to develop a series of special sightseeing tour products in the city.

Tianjin will also integrate festival tourism resources and plans to hold a series of special activities this year.
