Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Claudio Nardini as area managing director for Hainan Island.
A native Italian and a seasoned hotelier with nearly 40 years working and management experiences in the hospitality industry, Nardini has held the current position as general manager of Sheraton Sanya Resort since August 2002. In his new role he will continue to maintain his portfolio while overseeing and setting strategic direction for all existing and properties under development on Hainan Island.
