Hotel Opens In Shanghai World Expo Zone

Yahsin Business Hotel, managed by Visual Orient Limited, has opened in Shanghai World Expo Zone.
The hotel is located in the service area of Pudong World Expo Zone; only about ten minutes walk from the World Expo venue. It was renovated from an abandoned office building. Wang Xiaodong, general manager of Visual Orient Limited, said that it took about a year to renovate the hotel at a total cost of US$3.2.
The hotel has 115 guestrooms divided into three styles according to size; the rates are RMB388, RMB488, and RMB588.
World Expo Village located in Bailianjing District, Pudong, is the support and service area for the 2010 World Expo. It will have star-grade, business, and serviced hotels with a total construction area of 540,000 square meters, and a planned capacity of 7,000 persons.
