Hong Kong Express Airways has launched a new service between Hong Kong and Okinawa and will add another four new routes to Japan during April and May.

Initially there will be two flights per week on the route between Hong Kong to Okinawa. However from April 28, the number of flights on this route will be increased to four per week.

Following the relaxation of restrictions on the transportation capacity between Hong Kong and Japan in January, Hong Kong Express Airways is the first local airline to offer nonstop services to a number of Japanese cities.

According to local media, Hong Kong Express Airways has set up its initial office in Okinawa and will launch nonstop services to Hiroshima, Kagoshima, Nagoya, and Okayama over the next few weeks.
