Some budget hotel chain brands have begun to develop in the second-tier cities around Hubei.

Jinjiang Hotels said that Jinjiang Inn would expand its outlets in the second-tier market of Hubei. At present, the company has negotiated several properties in cities like Yichang. The company said that these hotels are scheduled to open this year.

Meanwhile, budget hotel chain brands Sunny Sky Inns and 7 Days Inn also plan to select locations in Yichang, Xiangfan and Jingzhou to add to their outlets this year.

According to published data, there are a total of 110 budget hotel chain brands with more than 1,200 outlets in China. Of these Hubei has 88 budget hotels, most of which focus on Wuhan.
