New Airport Opens In Shaanxi's Yulin

Yulin Yuyang Airport has passed an inspection by Shaanxi Development and Reform Commission and the Northwest Regional Administration of CAAC and was formally opened for operation on April 10.
Building started in December 2005 with an estimated investment of RMB446.48 million. After two years of construction, the airport is positioned as a civil regional airport at the 4C level.
The airport is located northwest of Yulin city, 15.5 kilometers from the city center. It has a 2,800-meter-long runway and a 10,641-square-meter terminal building, which will meet the requirements of aircraft such as Boeing 737 and Airbus 321 for take-off and landing. Yulin Yuyang Airport is expected to be able to meet a requirement of 350,000 passengers each year.
