Maritim Hotels To Open First 5-star Hotel In China

German-based Maritim Hotels is gearing-up to open its first hotel in Beijing, scheduled to soft open in summer 2008.

Maritim Hotel U-Town Beijing is located near the east second ring road, next to Chaoyangmenwai Dajie, in Beijing's commercial district, and just a 30-minute drive from the airport. Built to international five-star standards, the hotel features 362 guestrooms and suites, including three floors of the executive club rooms, poolside cafe and snack bar. Food and beverage outlets include a German restaurant and all-day international dining restaurant.

Facilities for the meetings and events market include a ballroom and banquet hall for up to 1,000 guests, fully equipped with international standard conference assistance and facilities to handle meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. Meeting and conference facilities are supplemented by a modern business center offering a full range of business support services and Internet services.
