Air Berlin Begins New Routes From China To Germany

Air Berlin has inaugurated new nonstop service from Beijing and Shanghai to Dusseldorf in the heart of Germany and central Europe.
At the ribbon-cutting ceremonies Dieter Hofele, general manager for China, said, "We are delighted to bring this new service to the cities of Beijing and Shanghai, introducing a new alternative with nonstop flights to Dusseldorf, providing more convenience and choice for Chinese travelers."
Initially five flights a week are offered on each route on Airbus A330 aircraft in a two-class configuration. At Dusseldorf, passengers arriving from China now have access to Air Berlin's extensive route network to popular German and European holiday and business destinations.
Air Berlin flights depart daily except Wednesday and Saturday at 10:45 from Terminal 2 at Beijing's Capital International Airport, arriving Dusseldorf at 15:15 the same day. From Shanghai Pudong International Airport the Air Berlin jet leaves daily except Thursday and Sunday at 12:15 and reaches Dusseldorf at 18:20 for convenient same-day connections to destinations throughout Europe. The return flights both depart Dusseldorf at 17:25 for Beijing and Shanghai, arriving at 09:00 and 10:20 the following day, respectively.
