The air route from Qinhuangdao to Shenzhen which was temporarily suspended for several reasons including transportation capacity adjustment at the beginning of April has been reopened.

There are two weekly flights every Tuesday and Saturday. The service is operated using Boeing 737 aircraft. After reopening, the flight starts from Qinhuangdao at 20:10, and arrives at Shenzhen at 23:20; the return flight departs from Shenzhen at 16:30, arriving at Qinhuangdao at 19:30.

To welcome the 2008 Olympic Games and provide more convenience for travelers, the Qinhuangdao Shanhaiguan Airport as one of primary alternate airports will continuously add routes and increase flight frequency. Of these routes to Shanghai and Shijiazhuang will be increased to one daily.
