Spring Airlines has announced that it is cooperating with Tiger Airways to launch a low price route Shanghai-Xiamen-Singapore.

At present, Spring Airlines and Tiger Airways do not sell each other's tickets so that travelers need to purchase tickets from the two airlines separately. Spring Airlines operated four daily flights from Shanghai to Xiamen; while Tiger Airlines had one flight from Xiamen to Singapore every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. Of these eight weekly flights can offer passengers transfers within two hours.

Liu Xiaoming, vice general manager of Xiamen International Airport Co. Ltd., said that the flight time of this transfer routing is about eight hours, only two hour more than a nonstop flight.
