Hanting Hotels Group has announced that from May 18, 2008 to May 31, 2008, the group will donate the income from its membership cards to Red Cross Society of China to help the victims of Wenchuan earthquake.

The group will also put on posters with donation information such as the accounts of Red Cross Society and other charity organizations in each of its hotels to offer convenience to customers who want to donate to the disaster areas.

Hanting has many hotels in Sichuan Province, among which the four hotels in Chengdu were affected by the earthquake. For safety reasons, the hotels evacuated and transferred some guests to safe places and offered free food to them. The hotels also contacted airports for airline information to ensure timely exit of their customers.

At the same time, Hanting used its own relief funds for the first time to help its employees whose families were seriously affected by the earthquake to rebuild their lives and communities.
