Star-grade Hotels In Guangxi Increase To 384

Kang Tianbao, vice director of Guangxi Provincial Tourism Bureau, said at a recent meeting of the Guangxi Hotel Association that Guangxi currently has a total of 384 star-grade hotels.
Of these hotels around Guangxi, there are 11 five-star, 32 four-star, and 177 three-star.
According to the statistics, in 2007, Guangxi welcomed 2,055,200 inbound tourists, an increase of 20.4%; and its total tourism revenue reached CNY44.588 billion - a growth rate of 21.2%. Last year, there were 35 new hotels in Guangxi, including one five-star, six four-star and 24 three-star hotels. At present, the province has ten green hotels at the Gold Leaf level, and 44 at the Silver Leaf level.
