China Southern Opens Nonstop Chongqing-Urumqi Route

China Southern Airlines will launch a non-stop tourist route from Chongqing to Urumqi starting from July 25, 2008.
The new service will be operated once a day using Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight will start from Chongqing at 12:10, arriving at Urumqi at 15:50. This will make the number of Chongqing-Urumqi flights five a day.
According to local media, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, cooperating with China Southern, plans to launch a series of multi-trip tickets connecting Chongqing to other cities in Xinjiang including Aletai, Hetian, Kashi, Yining, and Akesu.
