HKTB Launches Hong Kong Tour Of Olympic Equestrian Events

With the upcoming 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and Hong Kong as the host of equestrian events getting more attention, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited and Mangocity.com have jointly launched the Hong Kong tour product "Watching Equestrian Events" in mainland China.
Ye Zhende, director of Mainland China, HKTB, said that this tour product is specially designed for tourists who plan to travel to Hong Kong during the 2008 Olympic Games, providing the opportunity of watching the equestrian events in the Hong Kong venue so tourists can experience the atmosphere on the site.
According to local media, the areas where HKTB has launched this tour product include Beijing, Shenyang, Dalian, Changchun, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Tourists from these areas can book the Hong Kong tour through the travel agencies that cooperate with HKTB on this tour product. Tourists in the other regions in mainland China can book through Mangocity.com.
The equestrian events for 2008 Olympic Games are scheduled to be held in Hong Kong between August 9 and August 21, 2008.
