Katherine Wong has been appointed general manager of Starwood's Sheraton Dongguan Hotel, where she was the executive assistant manager of the same hotel for 16 months.
Wong has more than 20 years of experience in the business. She worked in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia where she associated with many prominent leading international hotel companies namely Hyatt International, Regent International, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts. Prior to her first posting in China, she spent three years in the capacity of the second-in-charge of Singapore's third largest hotel, Pan Pacific Singapore.
