The Henan Provincial Tourism Administration has signed an agreement on tourism cooperation from 2008 to 2010 with China International Travel Service Head Office to jointly expand the inbound tourist market.

To increase the inbound tour business in recent years, Henan has launched preferential policies, opened the nonstop Zhengzhou-Seoul air route and set up several charter flights including from Zhengzhou to Bangkok. This time, Henan Provincial Tourism Administration selected CITS as its partner to take advantage of its overseas tourist sources and sales networks in order to speed up the development of the Henan tourism industry – especially inbound tours.

According to the agreement, CITS promises to make efforts in planning, building and promoting Henan inbound tour products when they develop tour promotions, itineraries and tour products marketing in oversea markets over next three years.

Meanwhile, Henan Provincial Tourism Administration has agreed to give preferential treatment and bonuses to CITS when they send international tourists to Henan, and to offer relevant allowances for CITS-organized international travel service companies visiting to Henan and attending conferences held in Henan.
