Lufthansa Appoints New General Manager For Beijing

Lufthansa Passenger Airlines has announced the appointment of Martina Groenegres as general manager for Beijing and chief representative of China.

She will be responsible for overseeing the passenger airline's operations, sales and marketing functions in Northern China and Mongolia.

Groenegres is fluent in Mandarin, having lived in China for almost 20 years. She joined Lufthansa in 1996 and worked in a number of key positions dealing with government, business partners and customers. Before her new appointment she was general manager, Customer Services and Support Center and was based in Shanghai for four years.
