According to Huangshan municipal government, China Eastern Airlines and Korean Air will launch a temporary passenger charter flight between Huangshan and Inchon from October 1 through to November 30, 2008.

In recent years, Huangshan city has focused on building and promoting the Huangshan Mountain Scenic Spot and rural tourism locations with Hui culture, and has launched special tour products targeting the tourists from South Korea and the other countries and areas of Southeast Asia.

In 2007, both Korean Air and China Eastern Airlines launched a flight from Huangshan to Seoul.

Currently, South Korea has become the first largest inbound tourist source market for Huangshan city. Last year, the number of inbound tourists from South Korea visiting Huangshan exceeded 290,000. Major attractions and roads around Huangshan now set up the nameplates with Korean language.
