Wenchang, Hainan, has signed an agreement with Beijing Longmai Group for a resort area project.
This project with a planned investment of CNY2 billion, consists of two parts — on land and in the sea. Of these, the phase in the sea is to build a hotel project including a long gallery with an underwater view, a restaurant and hotel underwater, as well as a hot spring and yacht club on the surface.
The new resort area is located in the Huiwen area within Wenchang, and its construction is scheduled to be completed by 2015. The Longmai Group also said it aims to build this project into a 5A level attraction.
