China Achieves Tourism Revenues Of CNY79.6 Billion During Golden Week

Published data indicates that during the Golden Week of National Holiday, China hosted a total of 178 million tourists, an increase of 22.1% year-on-year, and its tourism revenue was CNY79.6 billion, 24.2% higher than the same period of last year.
The average expenditure per tourist was CNY448. The revenue of passenger transportation in the civil aviation sector went up by 34% from the same period of last year, while that for railway passenger transportation increased by 35%.
For the Golden Week, 39 major tour cities around China achieved CNY34 billion of tourism revenue, and the other domestic tour cities and scenic areas earned CNY39.7 billion.
