Shanghai Based SAL Holiday Sets Up JV With H.I.S.

SAL Holiday has announced that it has set up a joint-venture travel agency in Hainan in collaboration with Japanese travel company Highest International Standards.
The new travel agency which has approval from the Hainan provincial government has become the first joint-venture travel agency around the province.
At present, SAL Holiday has more than 50 outlets around Shanghai, and the wholly owned subsidiaries in Hainan, Sichuan and Beijing. The company said that the Japanese parent company will assign personnel to participate in the new travel agency's Hainan tour products design to meet the requirements of Japanese tourists. According to the research and forecast of Japanese market, the new travel agency aims to attract 50,000 Japanese tourists to visit Hainan over the next three years.
