Fujian Anxi To Build A Seven-star Standard Hotel

An agreement to build a large tourism project including a seven-star standard hotel has been signed in Anxi, Fujian.

This project, according to local media, has a planned investment of CNY2.5 billion from the Liyuan (Far East) Group. It is located on the Longqiao, Anxi, and covers an area of 5,400 mu. The project also includes a series of entertainment facilities, such as a golf course and a hot spring.

The hotel is reportedly designed using the Burj Al Arab's architectural style as a reference and will be built to the seven-star levels. It is scheduled to be opened by 2010.
