Ctrip Signs For Business Travel Management In Shandong

Chinese online travel service provider Ctrip.com has signed an agreement with the Shandong Provincial Tourism Bureau to take over business travel management for the departments and enterprises of the bureau from 2009.

In addition, Shandong Provincial Tourism Bureau will also recommend Ctrip.com to the Shandong provincial government as being one of the major providers offering business travel management and meeting services to the Shandong provincial administrative sector.

Business travel management is one of four core business of Ctrip, offering one-stop travel service and saving business travel costs for its clients.

Zhuang Yuxiang, vice president of Ctrip's Business Travel Management Department, said that there is plenty of room for development in the Chinese business travel management market, and currently Ctrip.com has signed business travel management agreements with a number of multinational enterprises including Ericsson, Sony and Coca Cola. Zhuang said that this cooperation with Ctrip could help Shandong Provincial Tourism Bureau save a lot on business travel expenses.
