BTG-Jianguo Unveils Its South China Flagship Hotel In Guangzhou

The Tianlun International Hotel will be formally rebranded as the Jianguo Hotel, Guangzhou from December 1, 2008 and will be BTG-Jianguo's flagship hotel in the South China region.

It is the first flagship hotel under the Jianguo brand in South China, and BTG-Jianguo sees it as an important step in expanding its hotel portfolio. The Jianguo Hotel, Guangzhou, is located in the Tianhe district, close to the Guangzhou East Railway Station, terminals for the subway and a bus station.

Opened in 2003, Tianlun International Hotel was acquired by Beijing Tourism Group in 2006. BTG-Jianguo Hotels & Resorts Management, owned by Beijing Tourism Group, focuses on the hotel business sector with Jianguo hotels throughout most of areas in the northeast, north, northwest and central China regions. Currently, BTG-Jianguo manages about 70 four- and five-star hotels in cities that include:Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Lanzhou, Yinchuan, Taiyuan, Changchun, and Wuhan.

In addition, BTG-Jianguo is refurbishing the Jianguo Hotel Xi'an, which is scheduled to be reopened by March 2009 as the group's flagship hotel in the northwest China region. Next, BTG-Jianguo plans to set up three regional centers in the north, south and northwest of China focusing on the Jianguo Hotel Beijing, Jianguo Hotel Guangzhou, and Jianguo Hotel Xi'an.
