Howard Johnson Tech Center Plaza Hefei, which will open on February 16, 2009, is the first international deluxe hotel in Hefei’s new hi-tech industrial development zone.

The 24-floor hotel building is located at the junction of the hi-tech zone, the new administrative zone, and the economic development zone. Howard Johnson says that with its strategic location and easy access, the hotel will be ideal for businesses travelers. The 293-room hotel is 10 kilometers from Hefei Luogang Airport and two kilometers from the Hefei Government building.

The 22nd, 23rd and 24th floors are designated as Howard Johnson Executive Floors and the hotel has 21 deluxe suites catering to the needs of long-term guests. The hotel has four restaurants and bars: the San Rafael Western Restaurant, Lotus Garden Chinese restaurant, a lobby bar, and a Japanese restaurant, Miyajima, featuring authentic Japanese cuisine.

The health club features a wide variety of recreational facilities. The gymnasium offers cardiovascular and weight training equipment, plus a steam sauna and Jacuzzi, complemented by an indoor swimming pool and outdoor tennis court. The spa, SPA at Howard Johnson, has 16 deluxe private rooms.

For MICE there are 11 meeting and banqueting facilities including a 770-square-meter grand ballroom, which can be divided into two, and a large pre-function area. State-of-the-art meeting equipment and facilities are designed to meet a wide range of meeting, event, and exhibition requirements.
