The senior leadership team from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide headquarters recently visited Sanya to attend the signing ceremony of the first St Regis resort in China, the St Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort. Attending the ceremony in the Sheraton Sanya Resort were Stephen Ford, vice president and area managing director for south China, and the general manager of Sheraton Sanya Resort; Frits van Paasschen, Starwood's president and CEO; and Matthew Avril, the president of hotel operations.
