China's online travel service provider eLong.com has joined hands with about 400 hotels in China promising delayed checkout at no extra charge.
Most hotels will defer their checkout time to 14:00; some even to 15:00 or 16:00. The late checkout campaign will last until August 28, 2009.
This initiative covers about 400 hotels in 40 business and tourist cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Shenyang, Qingdao, and Xi'an. ELong.com will call on more cities and hotels to join this initiative.
These hotels join 300 properties in a recent campaign initiated by rival Ctrip.com which runs until the end of July 2009.
