Seeing the great potential for the cruise business in China, Miami-based Royal Caribbean Cruises has announced that it will operate 39 voyages from Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tianjin, from February to November 2010.

These cruise products include five-night-six-day trips and seven-night-eight-day trips and will be operated by the Legend Of The Seas cruise ship.

The route departing from Tianjin will start in July 2010, going from Tianjin to Fukuoka, Kagoshima, and Nagasaki in Japan, and then to Pusan in South Korea before returning to Tianjin.

At 70,000 tons, the Legend Of The Seas is the largest luxury cruise ship sailing from Chinese ports.
