Chinese travel-related Internet map search engine 166map.com has officially been launched in Tianjin after three months of trial operation.

According to the producer of the search engine, the website can provide users with timely, accurate, and comprehensive information about scenic spots, hotels, museums, and travel agencies. Information on the platform will be updated at least twice a year to ensure all the photos and texts are accurate.

Currently the website has nine sections covering key tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, museums, self drive routes, travel information, recommended travel routes, and travel companions. More than 100,000 items of information has been collected to enable tourists to easily get detailed information about scenic spots, hotels and travel agencies such as location, telephone number, ticket prices, opening hours, and bus routes.
