Sichuan To Form Tourism Industry Group

The framework program for the establishment of Sichuan Tourism Industry Group Ltd has been published recently with the aim of building Sichuan's tourism brand.
Initiators of the group include Sichuan Development (Holdings) Company, Shuxiang Investment Company, Sichuan Jinhong Group Company, Sichuan Hotel, and Runfu Corporate Restructuring Investment Company.
The group will concentrate on the hotel sector with the support of Jinjiang Hotel, Holiday Hotel, Jin Xin Hotel, and other new hotels; meanwhile it will try to build a leading travel service enterprise in western China by integrating CITS Sichuan, CYTS Sichuan, and the travel agency managed by Jinjiang Hotel.
In addition, the group will exploit tourism commercial real estate by building a commercial center focusing on tourism. Tourism investment is another area the group is exploring.
