Sichuan To Set Up Business VIP Hotel Alliance

More than 30 independent star-rated hotels in Sichuan province are cooperating to set up the Sichuan Business VIP Hotel Alliance with the aim of bundling sales.
The alliance will work out unified regulations for hotel services and improve the overall competitiveness of its members.
The alliance has created new concepts for hotels, including: "first class seats" and "business secretary". In addition, it is intended to assist Sichuan's star-rated independent hotels to overcome the barriers to competition created by larger hotel chains and to offer more development opportunities to these smaller hotels.
It is reported that all the members of the alliance are not affiliated to any hotel chain.
