The Jordan Tourism Board participated in the CITM 2009 held in Kunming from November 19 to November 22, 2009, and this is the first time Jordan Tourism attended a travel fair held in China.

During the fair, and under the leadership of the managing director of Jordan Tourism, Nayef H. Al Fayez, Friends Tours, Royal Tours, Radisson SAS Tala Bay Resort, Al Thuraya Travel & Tourism, Desert Horizon Travel & Tourism and Tyche Tours showcased the tourist attractions of Jordan to Chinese visitors. The delegation also presented its varied tourism resources to Chinese visitors including fun and adventure; religion and faith; ecology and nature; history and culture; and leisure and health.

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan offers a range of tourist attractions to Chinese visitors ranging from the primeval starkness of Wadi Rum, to the teeming center of urban Amman; from the ruins of bygone civilizations in the Rose City Petra to the timeless splendor of the Dead Sea.
