OCT Group has commenced construction of OCT Yunnan, an eco-tourism project in Yangzong Lake, Kunming, and the group's fifth tourism project outside of Shenzhen.

OCT Yunnan lies to the north of Yangzong Lake, a provincial tourist resort in Yunnan province. It will introduce latest environmental technologies to build three eco environmental systems involving: the protection and restoration of the aquatic ecosystem, biodiversity conservation and energy utilization, and creating a brand new eco-tourism demonstration area. The first phase of the project is expected to open to the public in 2011.

OCT Yunnan will have five areas, six tourist products, five star-rated and boutique hotels, and an independent international conference center with simultaneous interpretation facilities, multi-media projectors, and audio/video system.
