South Korea Eases Restrictions On Visa-free Policy For Chinese

Local media reports that the South Korean government is considering further loosening restrictions to its visa-free policy for Chinese tourists, in order to develop the country's tourism industry.
The report says if the plan is approved, senior citizens over the age of 65, children, teenagers, government officials, and staff of multinational corporations will enjoy visa-free visits Korea for 30 days at most.
An official from South Korea's tourism administration said that by 2015, China will have 100 million outbound travelers. If South Korea could attract 10% of them, that would exceed the total number of tourists visiting the country in 2009.
