The Holiday Inn Shanghai West recently celebrated its soft opening and welcomed its first guest.
Holiday Inn Shanghai West is located in the Qingpu Xujing district. According to the InterContinental Hotel Group, it is the first international branded hotel in this region. The hotel is close to Huqingping road and is near to the Hongqiao traffic hub and the extension of the business zone. With the proximity of four major expressways, it is expected to be a convenient link to Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces.
According to Gary Ye, the hotel general manager, the construction of the Hongqiao traffic hub and the development of Hongqiao business zone are sure to bring about an increased requirement for accommodation and catering in the area.
Holiday Inn Shanghai West, which is owned by the Shanghai Blue Creek Real Estate Development Company, has 400 guest rooms and modern meeting facilities complemented by three restaurants and bars catering for a range of tastes. For leisure and relation there is a gymnasium and an indoor swimming pool.
