CNTA Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement With SAC

The Chinese National Tourism Administration and the Standardization Administration of China have signed a strategic cooperation agreement on standardization in the tourism sector.
Under the terms of the agreement CNTA will fully support the construction of a service industry standards system and will publicize and implement relevant standards within the Chinese tourism industry. SAC will offer policy and technical support and operational guidance to tourism standardization.
The agreement has also defined the five key areas that CNTA and SAC will cooperate on. These are: jointly making policy documents to accelerate tourism standardization development, implementing the tourism standards system, setting up a tourism standardization personnel training system, facilitating the internationalization of tourism standardization, and strengthening capital guarantees for tourism standardization.
