The 501-room Shanghai Marriott Hotel Changfeng Park has opened its doors to guests in time for the highly-anticipated World Expo 2010.

Owned by the New Development Group Company and run by Marriott International under a long-term management agreement, the hotel hosted an opening ceremony and celebration party with an attendance of some 500 government officials, business partners, key customers and media. In order to add a lifestyle flavor into the ceremony, high-profile motorcycle models of Ducati were displayed at the hotel.

Located in the Changfeng Ecology Commercial District, the 32-story hotel faces Changfeng Park and overlooks Suzhou River. Adjacent to the Hongqiao CBD, it is a 15-minute drive from Hongqiao Airport and a 50-minute drive from Pudong International Airport.

The hotel offers seven restaurants and bars featuring international cuisine and local favorites. For exercise there is a fully equipped fitness center with the latest cardio machines, strength training gear, free weights and a 25-meter indoor swimming pool; and for relaxation there is Marriott's signature Quan Spa.

For meetings and social events the hotel is furnished with the newest audio and visual equipment, it offers over 1,500 square meters of flexible space, consisting of 13 function rooms and a ballroom of almost 770 square meters for functions up to 700 guests.
